Easy to install
You can install Smaragd Deck just as easily as a normal hardwood terrace board.
All you need is a hand drill, a handsaw, stainless steel screws and a countersink drill.

Smaragd Deck is installed in the classic manner. That means installing by rough-drilling and fixing in place with screws.

This allows a piece of decking to be easily replaced, should it become irreparably damaged

Smaragd Deck in relation to existing WPC products
Polypropylene is superior to existing WPC products based upon polyurethane.

Polypropylene melts at 160º Celsius and does not absorb water, whereas polyurethane melts at 100º Celsius.

The low melting point makes polyurethane easier to process but this is at the expense of the rigidity of the product (sagging), as is shown by the increased warping of products composed of a polyurethane basis.
