Paraju (Manilkara bidentata)
Paraju, better known as Massaranduba, has outstanding properties that make it an excellent choice for floor timber, in addition to the various options for outdoor applications. When fresh the heartwood of Paraju has a fleshy colour, which darkens to greyish red/brown, dark red/brown or sometimes purple/brown.
